time to dual spec

January 1, 2010

Reading up on post-3.3 restodrood changes it looks like haste has become the AMG NEED MORE stat of the moment. My lil resto dood Nadeau is not even close to well-geared (his gear is a curious mix of naxx and ToC10/badge stuff) but I think that just makes respeccing even MORE important for him. The spec du jour seems to be 18/0/53 for a HoTting machine. Think I also need to start running daily random heroics on him (I’ve been terrified I’ll get thrown into oculus, which I have never healed, or worse yet one of the new ICC heroics >_<)

I should mention I never dual specced this guy. Questing as a wrath-spamming restodrood isn’t THAT bad, I swear! Still, the main reason is I’m a cheapskate with my gold (my roommate, when he played wow, made fun of me for complaining about 20g items on the AH) and just didn’t want to drop the 1000g when I could do just fine slowly plugging through quests as a pathetic NE-form roots-moonfire-wrath machine. I’m beginning to think spending half my time as a fuzzy cuddly boomchicken wouldn’t be so bad, though!

Man, this toon has been the epitome of my wow-masochism – a few days ago I decided I would finally level his tailoring (which has languished at like, 195 for probably 3 years) and emptied the banks of all my toons in a rabid search for the metric crap ton of cloth it takes to level this freaking tradeskill. After much gold dumpage and a random lucky streak of skill points for a green pattern he sits now at 379, impatiently waiting for all the alts I have slowly lurching through Northrend to send him their cloth drops. (He took a brief break to pick up some novelty patterns in gnome form as well)

grind grind

don't tell me to use OneBag or Bagnon or whatever, I hates them

Gnome!Nadeau makes like a tree and leaves

Gnome druids would be awesome

Well I’m gonna log in and see what’s going on… by the way, happy new year and all that :>
